I’m at the airport for my flight back to Tokyo. Singapore’s Changi Airport has been rated the best airport in the world by Skytrax 13 times as of 2025. It’s a large, beautiful, and feature-packed facility, which is a pleasure to visit. I was on a holiday visit to Singapore, so I had plenty of time. On my last business visit, I got through passport control so quickly that it felt faster than a domestic flight in the United States.
I made a few snaps as I walked through the airport. However, I don’t remember which terminal I was in. I lost track of that information a while ago. Regardless, the airport’s airy and modern design looks great, with adequate space to handle large groups.
There are also many attractions making the airport a destination in itself. They have IMAX Theaters and free movie theaters, a butterfly garden, a cactus garden, an enchanted garden, and the Rain Vortex featuring the world’s tallest indoor waterfall. My mom and I didn’t visit any of these places, though we did have a relaxing stay. Something I’ll cover in the next post.
