My trip to Cuba was led by Sony Artisan Scott Robert Lim, a photographer known for elaborate portraiture. Here is a behind-the-scenes picture of Scott in action, doing street photography.

I like the layered effect of three points of interest here. In the foreground, we have Scott. Just beyond that, we have a classic car, beautifully restored. Then, in the background, we have a wonderfully ornate architecture.

The building in the background deserves its own picture and explanation. Called the Gran Teatro de La Habana, it’s the home to the Cuban National Ballet. This Baroque Revival Building was completed in 1914. Its facilities include theaters, a concert hall, conference rooms, a video screening room, and an art gallery. I didn’t go inside but admired its architecture.
