The model and the monkey, PCU 2016 – Kerrville, Texas

I may have never shot a monkey before. Or if I did, perhaps at some zoo, long ago. This was one of my last photos I took at PCU and involved a bit of luck, actually. The critter was fast, racing up and down arms and anything else that resembled tree limbs. At f2.2, shallow depth of field even on micro 4/3, it was extra challenging.

I like the way it turned out. A cute monkey and Sharmita’s gentle smile.
