A highlight of our Hawaii vacation was the catamaran cruise — a short 1 1/2 hour ride from Waikiki Beach. I brought my carefree and waterproof Olympus TG-2 with me because it can get wet on the boat. Two years ago, a similar ride yielded large waves and lot of splashing, to the delight of my boys. This year, it was smooth sailing. Understandably, the boys were disappointed — the adults, not so much.

The captain had a line out the back and caught a small fish. Enough for a quick snapshot before he released it.

The TG-2 is several years old and now replaced by the TG-4.
