It was almost a Cajun Thanksgiving this year. My family and I headed to New Orleans for several days and we just got back yesterday. We are celebrating Thanksgiving in Austin, with our usual group of friends, like we’ve done for many years.
In addition to spending quality time with the family, I, of course, took a lot of photos. You’ll see those images filtering into the blog shortly. I was also on a quest for some great Jambalaya, which is one my favorite dishes. This one is from the Old Coffee Pot Restaurant, located on the French Quarter in New Orleans.
For the folks in the United States, have a great Thanksgiving. To my many international readers, while your country may not celebrate this distinctly U.S. holiday, I want to offer my thanks to you, for your visits. I hope my photographs and stories adds some enjoyment to your life.
