A Mac User in Paris – Paris, France

I have one more street photograph in this mini-series, though I’ll have more later. I was on this European trip for ten days and made these images in Paris within the first couple of hours.

My wife and I were on the way to a bakery, and I was shooting various observations. Passing in front of a cafe, I noticed this Mac user. This photo is 61mm, equivalent to 90mm in full-frame — more telephoto than traditional street photography focal lengths. Indeed, having a zoom lens helped. I could’ve zoomed up to a 120mm equivalent but preferred to include part of the doorway for context.

The wall hanging behind the woman also intrigues me. Is it a mirror or a painting? The architecture does not appear to match the cafe, but I’m unsure. Being a quick walk-by-shooting, I don’t remember enough details to make an assessment.
