A Couple Enjoys the View – Paris, France

I have one more from the Promenade Plantée, Paris’ linear park built on an old railroad line. I saw a couple taking advantage of the elevated view.

The fall foliage looks gorgeous, something I don’t get to appreciate or photograph living in Central Texas. Though honestly, with all the surrounding architecture in Paris, I didn’t notice the fall color until after the fact. I added more saturation and contrast to give the trees more pop.

I mentioned it in passing, but I want to reiterate the pictures in this series are from last year in late September. It was calm and peaceful in Paris back then, unlike the very tense and serious situation in Paris and around France right now — there have been multiple nights so far of unrest. Hopefully, that will come to an end soon. While central Paris is lovely, as I’ve been remarking, some of the outer suburbs are a completely different story, as I found on YouTube. This jives with the observation I made north of Paris as I took the taxi from the airport.
