Selection of Whites, Anne Fontaine – Paris, France
My wife was excited to find an Anne Fontaine store in Paris just off the Champs-Élysées next to the Philipp Plein store I discussed yesterday. While Philipp Plein seems to cater to the trendy street fashion look, Anne Fontaine is about classic designs.
The outfits at the store seem fashionable but timeless. Unfortunately, the Austin Anne Fontaine and others in Texas closed down. Perhaps they were too stylish for casual Texas. My wife bought a black blouse for special occasions. Though in Paris, it probably counts as casualware.
I took pictures and offered opinions on outfits only when asked. This room was filled with white outfits artistically arranged and worth a snap.

How was your wife treated by the employees of this store and the stores she visited after this one; this is the first post I have seen where a purchase was made?
I have heard stories of how Paris boutique employees can interact with visitors, and was wondering what your experience was.

Hi PaulB, she was treated very well. In fact, despite my worry, all our interactions with Parisians were great. They were very friendly and helpful.
