For my last photograph from day two of my Paris Trip, we have a lovely neon sign from Bistrot de la Gare. You might recognize this cafe. I posted a different perspective towards the end of day one.
It’s later in the evening than in my first version, and the neon’s red glow is at its peak. This cafe and the other eating establishments I featured in this mini-series are located close to each other on the north side of Gare de Lyon. We passed by as we bought drinks at a convenience store before returning to our hotel for our take-out dinner.
With a convenient stopping point, I’m pausing my European Trip coverage for a while to cover other topics. Much has happened during the 135 days of coverage so far. Consider that at the end of day two of this trip, I’ve already posted four and a half months of content. Day three promises to be equally exciting as I shift the coverage from France to Switzerland. However, Switzerland will have to wait.
