For no particular reason, I always assumed that the Bellagio Fountain Show happened only at night. That could be because all the pictures I saw were taken at night.
As we passed by, the show kicked on, and I snapped a few images. While still magnificent, it lacks the visual punch of the show at night. And, as you can tell from my architectural commentary, the Las Vegas Strip feels better at night — it has more dimension.
Ultimately, Vegas during the daytime highlights more of the realities of the everyday world — it’s less mysterious. You have outlandish properties like the Paris Las Vegas Hotel & Casino, but it looks more comedic. Seeing all the details during the day makes the developments look more cluttered.
