Retail Connection, Caesars Palace – Las Vegas, Nevada

Merry Christmas! I don’t have a special Christmas-related post this year, though here is a link to last year’s Driskill Hotel Christmas Tree. I’m continuing with my Las Vegas series instead.

I was looking at more than statues and fountains at the mall at Caesars Palace, such as architecture. However, most of this older mall wasn’t very exciting from a design point of view. There were lots of expensive stores gussied up with statues and Roman-inspired trim.

However, this structure looked more interesting. It’s not just an elaborate surround for the escalator but connects the old to the new mall. I’ve featured the new mall on my Thanksgiving Day post. You can tell the new design distinguishes itself.

I also snuck in another fountain, though it’s not the main subject. Notice Neptune’s Fountain on the other side of the escalator. I photographed it on a previous Vegas trip but didn’t even bother this year. Perhaps I had my fill of ornate sculpture. Luckily, this is my last post from Caesars.
