Swiss Train Interior – Zurich, Switzerland

I mentioned yesterday that we took a separate regional Swiss train from Basel to Zurich. It was about an hour’s ride east. I talked to a local Swiss passenger who pointed out some historic landmarks.

The Swiss Train didn’t seem any newer than the TGV Lyria, but it had a more timeless design. It wasn’t slick and stylish but comfortable.

After arriving in Zurich, I waited until most passengers left and took this picture. The 24mm equivalent created a moderate wide-angle distortion with lovely leading lines.
