Between our Glacier Express trip from Chur to Zermatt, we stopped at a station in the clouds — though I neglected to get the name of the location. We were allowed to disembark for about 10 minutes, allowing an opportunity to take a landscape without the annoying reflections off the windows.

Admittedly, it’s not a compelling picture, but it gives an idea of the breathtaking scenery.

I used this backdrop to make a few family snapshots with my wife, sister, and mother. This is the view looking towards the back. Then, I took this photo just before they rushed us back onto the train. Gotta make sure we are on schedule, we were in Switzerland after all.

This picture is from the reverse angle, looking towards the front. We also took a photo with the Glacier Express logo and waited for everyone else to clear before making this shot.
