I didn’t experience the pool at the Christiania Mountain and Spa, where I stayed in Zermatt, Switzerland, but it was lovely architecturally and photographically. I noticed it as I walked from our building to the main entrance of an adjoining building. I stopped in and took a few pictures. Luckily, no one was there, so I could photograph without raising any suspicion.

The pool area was more modern than the rest of the hotel and looked like it had been added later. However, the quiet elegance of the hotel is echoed in its design.

Our three (partial) day, two-night stay was packed with tourist activities, so we didn’t have time to lounge around. It would be wonderful to spend a week here and take in life.
