Amid the architectural splendor of Opéra Garnier, I caught a kiss. It’s one of my favorite street photographs in Paris.
The color version looks great, too. But out of tradition and consistency, I changed my street photographs to black and white, like I often do. Plus, I figured you need a break from all that gold and richness I’ve been posting lately.
It takes a whole lot of luck to capture these random and unexpected events. It helps to have your camera ready and to know the controls well. But at a 1/15th-second shutter speed, things could’ve also gone wrong. It’s always wonderful when everything falls into place.
