The direct flight from Honolulu to Dallas was without incident, and thankfully, the flight is shorter, traveling east. We flew overnight and arrived in the morning as the sun was rising.
At DFW, I love the long escalators that lead up to Skylink, the in-airport transportation system connecting the terminals. I’ve shot these escalators often. However, the fisheye makes the curved architecture even crazier. The morning sun created an especially inviting glow.
The fisheye-only coverage of my 2022 Hawaii trip was a welcome change of pace, offering unique imagery. I hope you enjoyed it. Next up, we head to a small town in Texas, with a decidedly more precise framing—the opposite of the exaggerated curves in Hawaii. I’m still using the Fujifilm GFX, however, so we have camera continuity.
