Business Class Food

Salad and Bread - Singapore Airlines

Salad and Bread – Singapore Airlines

This is the last post about my Singapore Airlines flight from Tokyo. I’m back to using the Sony A7C after my impromptu portrait session, which I featured yesterday, where I used the Fujifilm GFX 50S II.

As you can imagine, there is an upgraded food experience in business class, especially on Singapore Airlines. Not shown is the satay hors d’oeuvres that came before the salad and bread, as well as multiple drink services. There was also a choice of Japanese food, but I opted for the Western fare.

Flight Attendants - Singapore Airlines

This was the main course. Everything tasted great, certainly for airline food. Did it match a nice restaurant? No. But the service was terrific. After the main course, a fruit plate was served for dessert.

The flight attendants served both alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks constantly before, during, and after the meal service. I was most impressed with the service and attention to detail, rather than the actual taste of the food. While I’ve only been in business class a few times, for actual business trips, the Singapore Airlines food service was far superior.
