I have one more from The Fullerton Hotel, though it’s not much of a picture of the hotel itself. I was passing through the lobby, getting ready for dinner when I saw this dramatic red car parked at the entrance. It immediately stopped me, and I had to take a picture.
There’s nothing special about the vehicle. I even saw a fancier car earlier in the day at the hotel, a red Ferrari. However, what makes this shot stand out is the context, with all the red surrounding the car in the environment—very dramatic.
I opted to use the doorway as a frame, which also helped me to include more of the red carpet. I like the resulting image. One of those unplanned scenes that just came together, and I was lucky enough to see it.
