The Fullerton was more elaborately lit up than I expected. I’ve seen the building in its golden lights before on previous visits to Singapore. Still, I don’t recall the extra pinkish accents along the pillars. Was there a special occasion?
Admittedly, this is a sloppy architectural composition. Definitely more of a snapshot than a well-considered photograph. I framed too closely that I couldn’t effectively perspective correct. It doesn’t even show the entire building from top to bottom.
However, it is a festive image that fits into the narrative of the current Singapore story, so I included it. I’ve become more discerning in my architectural photography over the last couple of years, which is definitely making me more critical.
