We weren’t granted access to the inside of the hotel since I wasn’t staying at the Raffles, however, I took pictures of the grounds. As you can see, it’s lovely.
The architecture, landscaping, and accessories harmonized to create an upscale colonial and tropical feel, which works perfectly for Singapore.
My mom and I didn’t just arrive at the Raffles Hotel to look around; we had a specific purpose, and people familiar with Singapore can probably guess why we were there. There is a brass sign on the first pillar of the last picture that gives the reason. It’s challenging to see, but it’s enough of a hint until tomorrow’s post.
