Transiting Marina Bay Sands

Marina Bay Sands Monochrome - Singapore

Marina Bay Sands Monochrome – Singapore

We are on the same bridge or aerial walkway I’ve discussed in the last two posts. It took us from the Gardens by the Bay up to the Marina Bay Sands Hotel. The path transits through the hotel and ultimately leads to the shopping mall. Though the path gets a little obvious past this point.

Look to the left and you see the lobby of the third tower, as seen above. Look to the right and you’ll see the scene depicted in the picture below. The hotel is large on the outside and, as you can see, also spacious on the inside.

I considered staying here during this trip to Singapore; however, they didn’t have the room configuration we liked. Additionally, I had the opportunity to visit the lobby during a previous visit. While large and impressive, it has the feeling of an airport. It didn’t appear to have the personalized touch of a smaller hotel. I’m happy we stayed at The Fullerton Hotel, although the Marina Bay Sands undoubtedly looks impressive architecturally. And it looks great in black and white.
