The Fullerton Bay Hotel is one of a complex of buildings owned by the same group. My mom and I stayed at the sister property called The Fullerton Hotel. Unfortunately, a major road separates the two hotels, but they have come up with an ingenious solution—an underground walkway.
Given that these properties are upscale, the underground connection isn’t your standard structure. Obviously, we are not talking about a tile-covered cement-floored structure like the New York City subway system. Nope, we have a futuristic glowing set of escalators that moves you from one end to another. This hallway leads directly into the basement of The Fullerton Hotel.
I shot this image at 1/15 of a second. You can see the motion blur on the walls closer up. Because of image stabilization, the escalator and the far details look tack sharp.
