I rarely shoot on a tripod these days, relying upon in-body image stabilization. Sometimes, images taken without a tripod can be just as good; however, most of the time, using a tripod still maximizes image quality. In this example, I shot at ISO 100 at f16, which needed a 28-second exposure.
My mom retired to the hotel room, and I was in full photography mode. Thus, I was okay walking around without a tripod and methodically taking pictures instead of my usual quick snaps when I’m with someone else.
All of my photographs so far from Singapore have been with the Sony A7C; it’s smaller and easier to take around. However, I busted out the medium format Fujifilm GFX 50S II, which I used for this photograph.
