Most of our meals in Singapore were simple and not fancy at all. We ate at a hawker center, a bar, and snacked the rest of the time. However, we did go to one fancy restaurant for lunch, called Jade, at The Fullerton Hotel. It was convenient since it was one of the restaurants in the hotel where we stayed. The place filled up quickly, and we were lucky to get a table.

The architecture was elegant and upscale, and unlike any Chinese restaurant I’ve been to. It was a memorable meal, and my mom seemed really pleased with the food and the environment.
