I was leaving my room in the morning, getting ready for our photowalk, when I noticed this woman busily cleaning the door. I was prepared and had my camera with me. I shot a quick portrait.
For my second picture, I framed her in full action, mopping the floor. I could probably have combined both shots into a single compelling portrait with some planning. But, in my quick snapshot mode, this is what I could muster. Still, it gives a good environmental context.
I was headed to the lobby, which is on the other side of the atrium with the open door. There, I would shoot even more interesting behind-the-scenes pictures at the start of the second day.
