I mentioned in an earlier post that I’ve seen a lot of dogs in Havana. Not strays; well-taken care-of pets. Here’s another street photograph featuring dogs.

You can see in this photo that there is a bond between the boy and his dog. Even from this vantage point, he appears to be happy with his pet.

I also happen to frame the subject against a clean and colorful background, surrounded by metal fencing. It creates a sense of enclosure and purposeful composition. Though admittedly, I was just lucky.
