We had dinner at the Fabrica de Arte Cuba. A small restaurant that served some decent food, as I remember. And although I have a picture of my food, I don’t remember what it was.
Photographers are good at entertaining ourselves, and during our meal, we played with some lighting. I ordered a mojito, a classic Cuban cocktail in this Havana Club glass, and we played with the illumination. In the first picture, I had a small LED light behind the drink.
We all worked together and continued to improve the lighting, hitting upon the idea of placing the glass on top of the light. Then we created a black backdrop using a cloth napkin. It’s far from perfect, but entertaining. A quick behind-the-scenes look at what we did for fun.
