Imagine our surprise when we discovered this alien remnant. We found it early this year as we hiked through the West Texas desert near Big Bend National Park. And I thought the extraterrestrials were confined to Area 51 in New Mexico.

The iridescent colors and glowing base oddly didn’t scare us. We were mysteriously drawn to it like moths to a flame. Purely by luck, everyone in our party were photographers conveniently with tripods to capture this rare find.

Our only concern, what kind of creature hatched from this giant space egg and was it still close by?

You don’t believe me? We really did find this giant rock which was about 6 to 7 feet tall. It sat there, by itself, alone in the desert. It wasn’t quite this colorful until we light painted with blue and red gels. All told, I combined 4 photos to create this embellished image of alien remains. It was the first time I seriously light painted.
