Festive Leading Lines – Singapore

I was in Singapore in the middle of December, so the city was festively decorated for the holidays. From the Fullerton Hotel there’s a convenient underground passageway that got me closer to the bay. It was a good thing I asked the hotel staff. Crossing the very busy Fullerton Road was a daunting challenge.

What I didn’t expect was this photo-worthy underground connection. Whenever I see something like this, I immediately think leading lines and make sure the camera is set to a wide-angle. The is at a 27mm equivalent on my Canon compact.

As I talked about yesterday, I’m opting to use JPEGs, even though I lose a little detail on the wall hangings. It’s sharper and with a better and more colorful glow.
