As I talked about yesterday, there is some greenery and a pond outside Brookfield Place. And, then, there’s this. A rather impressive multimillion-dollar yacht, a giant river, and a skyline. Not bad. Something that you don’t see everywhere.
There were several yachts at the North Cove Yacht Harbor. Perhaps it’s daily transportation for the uber-rich Wall Street crowd? The river is the Hudson which merges with the East river just south of here. The skyline on the other side is Jersey City.
Jersey City and the entire state of New Jersey don’t get much respect in New York. But, as you can see, it is growing impressively. The skyline pales in comparison to Manhattan. However, it’s rather substantial compared to most other downtowns.
