We’re inside St. Paul’s Chapel, which I mentioned yesterday. The building was small, simple, and beautiful. The restrained ornamentation and the white interior make for a minimalist space, especially compared to the ornate churches in Europe.
Historic artwork adorned on the walls like a museum. I captured a woman taking a picture of the Great Seal of the United States.
You can see the Great Seal below, which hung next to George Washington’s pew. Commissioned in 1785, it’s one of the first known paintings of the seal.
