Waiting Line, Sainte-Chapelle – Paris, France

We found the entrance to Sainte-Chapelle and multiple confusing waiting lines. However, we purchased a museum pass at an information kiosk at the airport, allowing us to bypass some of the waiting. While we still waited in line, it had priority over the others.

You can buy a museum pass for different durations. We bought a two-day pass since we were scheduled for Switzerland in a few days. The passes can be less expensive than buying separate tickets if you optimize your visit to multiple locations. However, our primary purpose was to decrease our wait time.

Most have a security bag check and a walk-through metal detector, regardless of where you visit. There’s often a backlog to get through security, but the museum pass did noticeably reduce the wait time.
