Gallery Blur, Musée d’Orsay – Paris, France

Until now, most of my posts from the Musée d’Orsay were from the central hallway. With good reason, the architectural space of the converted 19th-century train station is dramatic. However, there are many galleries tucked in on the sides off the central area. And here’s one of them.

The museum specializes primarily in French art from 1848 to 1914 — think impressionistic painters. I prefer this style to the earlier ones on display at the Louvre.

You have to excuse my artistic ignorance. I don’t know the artist from this gallery. However, I identified many others correctly, partially because they are so famous. Photographically, I achieved precise framing contrasting with the motion blur that gives dynamism to usually static gallery settings.
