I followed my wife as she went to a few boutiques, buying some items, but luckily, nothing that would break the bank. I probably do more damage at Precision Camera in Austin.

Photography makes me accommodating since I can observe and snap pictures — that keeps me happy. I saw what appeared to be an invite-only party at Philipp Plein, a designer that my wife and I never heard of before. The area is packed with stores, some world-famous and others known to a select crowd. I looked them up, and they make clothing and accessories for men, women, and children with street-inspired edgy designs. We don’t appear to be their target demographic.

Paris Fashion Week was starting when we arrived. And no, we weren’t going to that. Though it would’ve been awesome to photograph some of those events. Anyway, I wondered if this party had something to do with fashion week events. I didn’t bother asking.
