The hotels progressively become nicer as I move north on the Las Vegas Strip. I’m in the Park MGM now, just north of New York-New York. We leave the overt theming of Egyptian pyramids, Castles, and Old New York City behind as we move upscale.
At first blush, Park MGM looks rather bland, though new and updated. However, looking at the website, the property might strike a good balance between too playful (and childish) and overly luxurious.
The most prominent attraction is Eataly, a generously spacious food hall with Italian restaurants. The Park MGM website claims it’s the largest Italian marketplace with restaurants in the world. Visually, this curved bar attracted my attention.
