Reflections of the Strip – Las Vegas, Nevada

Many of the pedestrian overpasses on the Las Vegas Strip incorporate glass walls. I suppose they offer a cleaner, more modern look with the benefit of less obstructed views of the wacky architecture. I used this vantage point and created this image.

The fun of shooting through glass is the opportunity for creative reflections — they can create a double exposure effect like we see here.

You can see the Flamingo Hotel in purple dominating the background along with its colorful neon. On the right the Bellagio with parts of Caesars Palace. Down the strip, you can see The Cosmopolitan and billboards for the Paris Hotel, Aria, and MGM Grand. It’s a jumble of Las Vegas strip icons mixed into one.
