Angled Interior, Shops at Crystals – Las Vegas, Nevada

The night before, on my solo photo walk of the Las Vegas Strip, I passed by the Shops at Crystals but I didn’t explore the interior since it was closed. You can tell from that post the exterior walls were canted at dramatic angles.

The next day inside, the angled walls continue. Crystals is a high-end shopping mall, one of many on the strip. This one distinguishes itself by being ultra-modern. It’s part of the futuristic City Center development.

This picture is the reverse angle of the first, looking upward towards the second floor. Continuing up the stairs and exiting leads to the Aria Casino. Going the other way, as seen in the first photo, leads to the street and Las Vegas Blvd.

Years ago, when I first visited Las Vegas, I tried to take a picture here, and a mall cop stopped me. Since then, I’ve been wary of photography at Crystals, though I have not been accosted during my last two visits. I don’t know if they changed their photography policy or if I was lucky.
