I have one more sculpture from Caesars Palace, and it’s a giant one — super detailed and a bit hoaky, located in the middle of the shopping mall. It’s an impressive piece with several carvings around a huge water fountain.
I shot this with an image stabilized 1/8 second exposure, which smoothed out the fountain’s water. If you like marble, this is your piece. I highlighted just one sculpture of a few.
Shot from further away, you can appreciate the size of the fountain. You can see Poseidon and other miscellaneous gods as well as posing tourists. The sky is fake, just a painted ceiling of an indoor mall. It has a very Las Vegas feel.
