I noticed this couple doing more elaborate than usual poses at this scenic spot and had to do some street photography. I captured them from two different angles, seeing them as I came up the hill and snapping the photo below. Then, I quickly shifted my perspective to capture the first picture. Not only is the woman doing fun poses, but the guy is also styling in this shooting stance.
Why didn’t I post the second picture first? It has to do with how WordPress, which I use for the blog, posts square thumbnails of the first picture on the post. Did you ever realize this? The second picture didn’t look as good in a square format. I have never talked about this before, but that’s how I often decide on the first picture for multi-picture posts. The lede photo must look decently composed in a square format.
My wife and I also took pictures at this spot, minus the fancy posing. Maybe we are too old and too boring to do elaborate poses.
The Zooom building in the background was free and offered a few augmented reality views of the Matterhorn. This sounds cooler than it actually was. It’s worth the price of admission, I suppose.
