The day after finishing the night photographing cafes, we were off to the Châtelet Metro station to start our day of tourism. I was unsure of the name of the area of Paris where we stayed. I described it as between the Marais and The Louvre. Research revealed that we were in Les Halles in the 1st arrondissement.
Our hotel was centrally located in a lovely part of town. I enjoyed capturing the handsome architecture as we walked to the Metro. These two random buildings caught my eye out of a vast inventory of worthy structures.
I used a single lens, the Fujifilm 16-80mm attached to the X-E3, and it did a fine job covering most subjects. At a 24mm equivalent, shooting architecture and perspective correcting them can be tight. I got pretty close here, making the building look reasonably straight without excessive distortion.
