My wife and I went to the top floor of Printemps, a fancy department store, just to look around. We read somewhere that it was worthwhile, and since we’re in the area, why not?
The space we discovered undoubtedly didn’t look like a typical, stodgy, old-world department store, particularly an upscale one. It looked industrial and boutique-y, with a giant skylight and industrial vibes.
A glittering cloud hung over the center, and while I snapped a picture of it, I omitted a close-up investigation. Zooming into the picture, shiny bits appear to be origami birds of different sizes and shapes. It was an attractive focal point but perhaps not earth-shattering. Then, we went to the next room.
