As I discussed in the last two posts, I tried to minimize the impact of people at the Hall of Mirrors at the Palace of Versailles. I’m embracing people via street photography for the last post from this iconic room.
Here’s a posed picture and a candid one, though I think none of the subjects realized I’d included them in the photo. For all the knock about crowds, having people adds warmth to an image when done right. The post from yesterday with the pretty room details seems lonely without any people.
Making candids in a place like this is easier because so many people take pictures. I just blended in like every other tourist documenting the architecture—except I was using a dedicated camera instead of a smartphone.
