It was getting dark by the time we returned to Paris. We were searching for a decent cafe but without a concrete plan. We got off the train near the Musée d’Orsay and remembered seeing several cafes in the area. Unfortunately, they were all closed.
We continued to talk south until we found a promising restaurant: Mucha Cafe. We didn’t have anything elaborate, just soups, a baked pasta dish, and salads, but they were all great. They sat us right by the window facing the street. I had a front-row seat to the cafe life happening outside.
It was dark when we finished, and I snapped a picture of our table and the scene outside as we left. You can’t see the glass that separates the inside from the outside, but we sat at the table with the white tablecloth and the glasses. The super contrasty black and white adds a bit of nighttime drama.
