We are on 4th Street, looking west and one block east of where I was in the post two days ago. In that post, I talked about the last remnants of the warehouses in the warehouse district. From this angle, you can see those low-slung buildings.

More dramatic are the rising skyscrapers, including the newest, The Republic, which I talked about a few days ago. The structure looks nearly complete outside, with only the crown remaining, rising to a respectable for Austin 710 feet.

On the right is a new-ish 44-story, 516-feet apartment building, Hanover Republic Square. Most tall buildings are new, and the midrise in front of The Republic is scheduled for renovation.
