For my last post from Singapore, I feature the lively retail establishments at Changi Airport, both stores and restaurants. As you can see, there is a mix of establishments, catering to both everyday and upscale tastes.
I shot whatever caught my eye; for that reason, perhaps I gravitated naturally towards color and glowing details. However, there is a common theme despite the differences in the retail store and the exclusiveness level.
The Changi Airport may be a microcosm of Singapore itself. Excellent infrastructure, which is clean and orderly, with private enterprise catering to the everyday person and the upscale consumer. I was there for only several days, and saw the tourist side of the country, and had a wonderful time both for the experience and the photography.
