Downtown Skyline from the Plant Museum – Tampa, Florida

Although I visited the Henry B. Plant Museum building and explored its academic facilities, I chose not to enter the museum. I was sorely disappointed with the interior, and the smallish museum didn’t excite me. I did, however, make alternate plans that worked out well.

This is the view of the downtown Tampa skyline from the museum. As a first-time visitor to Tampa, I didn’t realize I was so close to the central core. I made the executive decision to ditch the museum and walk downtown. That would be more in keeping with my interests in photography.

While the skyline didn’t look particularly large, the palm trees added that exotic appeal, especially for someone from Texas. I was curious how Tampa compared with Austin.
