I was in the mood for pizza, something that happens from time to time, as pizza is my favorite comfort food for a former New Yorker. It was already approaching 3pm, so I was ready for lunch. I had asked the Uber Driver for pizza recommendations, and she had mentioned a place downtown.
Confirming the restaurant’s rating and location, it was an 11-minute walk from the Henry B. Plant Museum and just a few minutes from the downtown bridge. Eddie and Sam’s N.Y. Pizza had 4.6 stars from 7000+ reviews.
As I approached the restaurant, I noticed a woman with a pizza and a drink walking toward me. I zoomed to the maximum 70mm and ensured she was well-framed, along with the pizza sign behind her. I then further cropped the composition in post.
The actual pizza was solid. Not the best NY pizza I had, but it certainly hit the spot.
