Welcome Drink – Havana, Cuba

After we checked into our rooms at the casa, we climbed the stairs one more level to the rooftop. Our casa had ready access to a rooftop bar and seating area, which became our living and dining room — we hung out there often.

The hotel manager had prepared us tropical drinks, and we finally had a chance to relax after our flight from Tampa and the van ride from the airport. I wasn’t particularly tired, especially since I was excited to be in an exotic locale. One that’s been on my bucket list.

It was still early afternoon, and we had many activities planned.
