Nearly an hour after we finished our long lunch, and when safe from any more rain, we took to the streets for our first group photowalk. The roads were still wet, which added a nice photographic dimension.

Here we see the street where we had our pizza lunch, serving as a makeshift outdoor courtyard. You can see the circular Pizza Retro sign on the left, and the under-awning and exposed seating on the street.

I focused on the foreground scooter riders, and the rest of the neighborhood softened into the background. The pops of color are fantastic, as are the puddles on the cobblestone street. Havana is rich in details, as will be seen in the next set of street photography posts.
