Issue 78 of my fabulous photography magazine is hot off the digital presses (via email). My holiday edition features a large variety of Christmas Trees from the “Happiest Place on Earth.” I make a significant equipment change deleveraging out of one camera system and into another. The new system bridges the lens gap to two other systems—it’s game-changing. Sign up for the free magazine to get the next issue and all the previous issues.
Like yesterday, here is another bit of street capitalism that I noticed in Havana. This gentleman was selling these puppies.
I didn’t ask about the price, but they looked adorable. Undoubtedly worth a street photograph to capture the scene and the cuteness.
I saw many dogs on the streets of Havana. They didn’t appear to be strays; they were well-fed and well-behaved. Unlike the United States, they seemed to have the freedom to come and go as they pleased. This was a stark contrast to India, where the dogs were emaciated and appeared to have no owners. I saw them in loose packs, and I did my best to stay clear of them.
